My life experience has taught me that if I do what is right for others, turning my thoughts to others instead of myself, my life is better. If the goal is paradise on earth, by acting honestly and justly, I find I inch toward that existence. Life becomes a serene journey for me. AND...you need to know, I NEVER think about this stuff unless I read your posts, so thank you.
Thank you Lily for this. Being raised Catholic I was read scripture by a white male priest and was never encouraged to read it. It is so wonderful to learn about the social justice Jesus and not the Jesus created by the corrupt patriarchal and abusive institution that is the Catholic Church.
