Katherine M. Clarke was born October 29, 1953 in Vancouver, B.C. Canada. She celebrated her upcoming 70th birthday with family and friends over a glorious weekend this summer in her Marlborough home at the foot of Mt. Monadnock. She died on January 15, 2024 at Cheshire Medical Center in Keene, N.H. attended by family and a cherished friend.
Thank you for this great tribute to a brilliant , curious, thoughtful woman whose life was a great adventure filled with courage and the excitement of possibilities, a spirit brimming with love, humor, grace, insight. ..... a woman whose good fortune brought her to meet the beautiful Lily. Kathy and I became best friends in the 11th grade at Eric Hamber High School in Vancouver. She was a dear friend to me for more than 50 years - always brilliant, empathetic and funny. I am so grateful that we never lost touch and we could pick right up where we left off every time we were together. Visiting you two, along with Nora, Deb, and Margo, in New Hampshire are highlights of these last few summers. Lily, thank you for this beautiful tribute to our dear Kathy. You are in my prayers.
