I always remember that quote, ....'courage sometimes skips a generation' ! It has been a reminder when we become complacent , to listen to our human inner call for courage , as uncomfortable and anxiety provoking as that may be. Thank you for this message Lily

What a great piece. Jesus was a person who walked into danger because he believed it to be the right thing to do…. just like so many others have done and are doing so now. And yes we indeed need a lot more folks, like you, to do so. Thank you Lily!

You had me with your opening sentence. Reading your blog this week reminded me of Bonhoeffer's "The Cost of Discipleship." It reminded me of the many courageous people who do what they can despite valid fears of retaliation. Thank you for writing this, Lily, and thank you for your closing paragraph.
